Cheers to the first Turning Point episode of 2021 and it's a good one! T. Thomason is a singer-songwriter who you may recognize from CTV's The Launch. We start with a major turning point for T. when he decided to leave university to pursue music full time. T. released his first album at 14 under his old name and pronouns so he was no stranger to the music industry. But in the following years, he took more ownership of his career and experienced the industry as a member of the transgender community.
We also talk about big decisions, being true to yourself, T.'s Part II project (including a recent collaboration with Sarah McLachlan that's BEAUTIFUL!) and a mentorship program for the trans community in Canada's music industry.
