Shortly after moving to Toronto from England, Fran had to give birth to her first baby just half way through her pregnancy, only to watch him pass away in her arms.
Knowing no-one, in a foreign country - she managed to forge on and even though she still faces challenging times, she finds beauty and purpose in her experiences.
