Today on the podcast, I’m interviewing Eva Klein, Certified infant and child sleep consultant and the founder of My Sleeping Baby. We sometimes expect that as moms we will be completely exhausted, drained, and under-rested, but when we first and foremost remember that we matter and that our bodies literally need that sleep and rest, then we can help ourselves to prioritize, make a plan, and set a routine that will benefit you and baby. Eva also points out that sleep routines set up our children for success for years to come. Learning to fall asleep is a skill that will help them well beyond this phase of life. Eva talks about the emotional effects of sleep deprivation as well and that we can show up in every part of our life more fully when we’re well rested.
