Description

In episode 4, Rhea King-Julien shares how courage, faith and a near death experience helped her to make a huge shift in her life so that she could be better aligned with her true purpose.

 Rhea is the Co-Founding Director of Sunbeam Foundation a non profit aimed at providing people with skills so that they can be self-sufficient in areas such as food production and sustainable living and livelihoods. Some of the projects of Sunbeam Foundation are funded by GEF SGP. Thrive provides technical vocational education to help entrepreneurs in areas such as: agri-business and hydroponics etc.

Rhea was forced to leave a well-paying job because of constant illness and not being able to truly express who she was. She admits that it is difficult to leave the traditional 8 to 4 in order to be an entrepreneur but at times this is what it takes to fulfill your true potential and to put it simply to be happy and in alignment.

In her journey she has been able to explore various aspect of her spiritual self which has  helped with healing of her physical complaints.  Rhea works in  communities sharing skills which have made people in these communities more self-reliant in terms of food and their ability to feed themselves.
