• Blessing in UNITY
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled (restored, come into unity. RUN to HIM) to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (made right) II Corinthians 5:17-21 NKJV
Throughout the Bible we see people in unity blessed, prosperous and miracles in one accord
House divided will not Stand.
Mark 3:23-27 So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. 27 No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.
• Resistance to engage in strife is a demonstration of strength.
• Requires resisting thoughts feelings
• Satan is a pusher. Faith is a rest
• Example: people make worse by not walking away. Fear not going to get their way
2 Tim 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter , (who cleanses) he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. We must qualify for a more noble vessel. A vessel of honor. Dishonor, sin, unholiness 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But avoid foolish and ignorant lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated, rude or discourteous disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
AMP 23 But refuse trifling controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels.
