(9) Fruits (evidences) of the spirit
• Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is:
1. Love
Not a suggestion… Love is a command, not about a feeling.
Love is not sex (come together)
Ohh that loving feeling, fall in love, fall outta love = NOT Godly love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Longsuffering
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
I don’t wanna, I don’t feel like it
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. self-control. Against such there is no law.
Longsuffering, gentleness, is of a different spirit
If you want to fulfill the call to reconcile people to Christ, and obey the love command, you must contain your flesh.
Packaging matters… why else does a bride spend hours and hours getting ready for the wedding day?

• The tone in your voice
• Delivery matters
• Presentation matters
1. People buy a piece of junk because of pretty packaging but sales sky rocket
2. Proverbs says “the sweetness of the lips increases learning”
3. You don’t have to always correct people
