Many Christians attend church to be fed and served but never fulfill their call and experience all that God has for them in this life nor setting up their place in heaven to the level God has planned.
Jesus served all man-kind for all eternity. He not only died for our sins but while on earth he washed the disciples’ feet. Brother Mike shares how to fulfill the call and why many Christians do not serve.
Gal 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love (God) serve one another.
1: Reason people don’t serve – Selfishness:
• AMP only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], Clubs – love ya bro but gotta kill ya but through love you should serve one another.
• Selfish life = Empty Life
• Unselfish life = satisfying life
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
2: Reason people don’t serve – Strife:
Gal 5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
• NLT: Gal 5:15 But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.
o Strife = manifest presence of Satan
o They will know we are Christians by our competitive spirit..LOVE, Preferring, covering
3: Reason people don’t serve – Lack of Training:
• Lack of leadership
• Rebellion to submit and learn
