As we reach chapter 7, we approach one of the more infamous and gruesome parts of our story - the plagues. We explore the first nine plagues or rounds in this battle between the will of Pharaoh and the power of God. Paying close attention to their unique order and patterns in language, we discover that God does not compromise his integrity in delivering justice to Egypt but always couples his justice with mercy.
