Paul is alarmed and concerned about what’s going on in Galatia as the truth of the gospel was being twisted by a group of teachers that had infiltrated these Jersusalem churches. Chapter two of the book of Galatians begins with a meeting between Paul, these teachers, and the leaders of the Jerusalem church. In this passage, we discover why Paul fought so fiercely to protect the freedom we have in Christ and we explore exactly what this freedom means for our faith and our churches.
