It's no secret there's a growing distrust and cynicism of pastors and Christian leaders. We have come to expect a little and a lot of those in service to the people of God. As we'll see, ancient Israel had good reason to be skeptical of leadership based on tonight's passage from 1 Samuel chapter 2. We'll talk about pride and perspective and what it means to look for threads of God's redemptive hope amidst corruption and darkness.
