Happy Easter Wednesday! Tonight, we revisit a famous story of resurrection that preludes Jesus’ own death and resurrection, noting the way it whispers to us about what is about to happen. We explore the way Lazarus represents the parts of our own lives we have felt die, remembering that was is gone and buried can be brought to new life in Jesus. We remember that resurrection is for here and now, calling us to step out of darkness and into the light.
