We’ve reached our final week of James. Over the course of these five chapters we’ve seen the way James is extremely practical - he is deeply concerned about our growth, our becoming, and our integrity. It’s fitting that he ends this letter with a call to the most practical application of our faith – prayer. Tonight we explore the possibility that prayer is our invitation to stand in between worlds, one foot here in our world of pain and trouble and darkness, and one foot in the place of perfection and healing and eternal light.
