How should Christians seek to be faithful and generous with our money? What does money tell us about the proper order of our affections as followers of Jesus? We continue for the second week to look at 1 Timothy 6.

1 Timothy 6:17-19

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. Colossians 1:28

Two Dangers of Being Rich in this Present Age:

1. Pride
2. False security

Two Duties of the Rich in this Present Age:

1. We must generously embrace the responsibility of wealth.
2. We must learn and hold fast to that which is truly life.

Three Words of Application:

1. Pray for a generous heart.
2. Consider what your lifestyle reveals.
3. Plan to give sacrificially.
