I'm betting you've said this to yourself at least once or twice. We all have a preconceived notion of what it means to be a "real" runner (or ultra runner).
For some of us it's based on how fast we run, or the number of times we run a week, or how far we run....and the list goes on.
We build these concepts up in our head based on our experiences, things we've seen or read or heard, maybe because of what someone said to us.
