Today’s episode is inspired by a conversation I had with a client during a coaching call-and what we discussed felt so powerful, that she suggested I do a podcast about it. Brilliant idea.
She asked me if accepting her body is settling.
Phenomenal question.
And this podcast captures the conversation we had as the answer.
I talk about self compassion as a tool for identifying the things we CAN control and the things we can’t-and using that framework as a way to figure out the difference between accepting and settling (because there is a HUGE one).
I go through specific examples of what we can and can’t control so you can start to shift the way you’re thinking about effort and results.
This is one of my favorite episodes to date because it really gets to the heart of how change happens and what you can do right now to start making it happen.
