Putting disordered eating out into the open. Helping people understand what disordered eating is and why it's happening to them.
Because here’s the thing. Unless you have a clinical eating disorder, then your behavior around food is considered ok, normal and acceptable.
Its a very all or nothing approach to wellness around food and is a systemic problem drastically impacting the live of millions of people. It's just that nobody talks about it because nobody even realizes it’s happening.
As the saying goes, you don’t know what you don’t know.
So this episode is meant to create awareness around how and why disordered eating has become the norm and why we have to take action to change it now. To help you know what you don’t know. To offer support for the people out there whose lives have been tormented by food and body image, but who thought it was all just normal.
