Description

In this episode I go through 4 concrete ways that you can change your patterns. No matter what kind of change you're trying create within you, whether it's an emotional state, a reaction, a habit or a behaviour that you find unhelpful - there are ways to create lasting change and in this episode I share 4 of them. 

  1. Understand WHY you want to make the change (dig deep until you reach a base emotion).
  2. Realise that the pattern you're trying to change is probably linked to a strength you have. Understand what is the corresponding strength and notice where the bell curve drops off and the strength turns into a negative pattern. 
  3. Exercise: write a letter to your future self, after you have confronted a moment that will challenge the change you're trying to create. Write this letter as though your future self, who has overcome this challenge, is writing to your current self who has not yet gone through the challenge.
  4. Create a new default, a new pattern that will come to replace the one you currently have.
