Jonah 2:6-7
I went down to the mornings of the mountains;
The earth with its bars closed behind me forever;
Yet You have brought up my life from the pit,
O Lord, my God.
Jonah is feeling hopeless and filled with despair. God rescued Jonah. God is always the God of grace.
