the pipeline is getting clogged
there's nothing but a screen of fog and my throat is burning like a fist
sleep for days and when you wake, if you have the chance to blink
save it for when the monsters show their cards
screws loose
mud noose
feel them tighten
let's sit and curl you into a ball on the floor under the table chattering teeth
your hair pumps for days and it's drained and soaks up the ground
splash
and then laugh
but your soap won't clean it up
