Welcome to the sixth episode of the fourth season of the Perseverance Podcast. This is where you will hear the story of Kijuan Amey, a man who grew up to become a refueling specialist in the Air Force. His life was going well, and he had the career of his dreams. But after a life-threatening motorcycle accident, Kijaun was forced into retirement after serving over ten years in the Air Force. Then Kijaun began the grueling years of physical and emotional therapy just to walk and learn how to be self-sufficient all over again. Now Kijaun uses his struggles and his faith to encourage others to never give up after life throws you a curve. After hearing Kijaun’s story of learning to live again not by sight, I hope you too can feel encouraged to persevere as you go through your own difficult experiences.
