The Way of Spirit can be steep and winding at times, and broad and obvious at other times. During the journey, you will encounter true and sincere teachers of Spirit but you will also encounter just as many charlatans who peddle peace and take all your money! In the beginning, old patterns that you seek to break through spiritual practice will find their way into your spiritual practice; you become susceptible to spiritual materialism and the fortification of the ego through creating a "spiritual" instagram identity (haha); other times, you will feel confused and disheartened when the spiritual highs of yesterday do not come today. Many are the troubles and challenges of a life lived in Spirit! Fortunately, you are not alone. These problems have been experienced by others who have gone before you and are being experienced by those who share the road with you now! In this episode, we come together to discuss the 6 (or 7) common Pitfalls along the Path. With humour and compassion, see if any of these apply to you and let us all be vigilant!
