Alyssa Marie Tamboura studies Philosophy and Legal Studies as a fourth-year student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has founded the Walls to Bridges Project and serves as the chair for the Bay Area Children of Incarcerated Parents Partnership. She has worked with numerous organizations focused on policy and advocacy for system-impacted families, and has brought programming into carceral facilities in the Bay Area. As an adult child of a formerly incarcerated parent, Alyssa is a staunch advocate for system-impacted families.
