Greek Mythology, Sisyphus was the king of Ephyra, also known as Corinth. He was punished, by Zeus, for his self-aggrandizing craftiness and deceitfulness by being forced to roll an immense boulder up a hill, only to watch it come back to hit him, repeating this action for eternity.
Tasks that are both laborious and futile are therefore described as Sisyphean. We tend to complain during trials, make excuses and feel personally punished
We tend to shy away from the grind and struggle of life thinking that it’s a curse and not a blessing. Don’t be frustrated by the relentless struggle instead be driven and inspired by it.
