There are three states of consciousness that most people experience every day.  There is the waking, deep sleep, and dream states.  We are all familiar with these states. However, when you meditate you can also experience the fourth state or meditative awareness. This fourth state is always blissful and it actually permeates all the other states. So you can be awake and know this fourth state of bliss by learning how to tune into it.  This state is not foreign to us as we have all tuned into it when looking at nature or being absorbed in a good movie, book, or work project. However, we didn't know that it is actually a higher state of consciousness and you can learn how to tune into it directly through meditation. and learn to live in this awareness throughout your day.
