In this episode, I talk to Mike Navolio, who is the Coordinator of Amateur Scouting for the San Francisco Giants. Yes....the Giants. We talk about how he got to this position in a relatively short time...from beginning as an intern only 6 years ago. Then we dive into all the details about his position and the draft process for a major league baseball team. We talk about scouting high school vs. college players, and all the differences that come with it. Mike does a fantastic job of explaining the scouting process for the organization and so many questions get answered. He gets us all set for this year's MLB draft which occurs on July 11th. Of course, at the end he asks me questions about my past...and also viewpoints on high school issues. I am proud of all the things we cover in this episode and know that you will enjoy it. Don't worry about the length....it will fly by!!!!
Rate and Review.....really.....I appreciate it.
