MIDIMarc is a Hip-Hop/Soul producer and recording engineer hailing from Hopkins, South Carolina. MIDIMarc gained recognition on a national and global scale in the mid-2000s through the release of remix albums for Jay-Z's Blueprint titled "The Newprint" in 2005, and Nas' Stillmatic titled "The Day Things Got ILL" in 2007. One of MIDIMarc’s most popular remix efforts was his Notorious B.I.G. tribute project entitled Machine Gun Funk (2009) garnering over 100,000 downloads.
