In this episode of The Hilltop Glove Podcast, we interview Chris Mohead, aka Rob Savage, a recording artist, entrepreneur, and dedicated father. Believing that music is a language enabling him to share his unique story and connect with fellow creatives, Chris has established himself as a vibrant presence in Columbia, South Carolina's artistic community. His musical journey began in high school, progressing from rapping to skits and leading to over 100 live performances.
His debut album, "The Sunflower Act 1," chronicles his life from birth to fatherhood, intertwined with his entrepreneurial journey. Collaborating with his father, he co-founded Hylo Art Entertainment in 2019. This platform fosters local talent, hosting weekly events and providing a space for artists and poets in South Carolina. Adapting to Covid-19 challenges, Chris initiated "600 Seconds with Hylo Art," a virtual showcase on YouTube featuring interviews and open mic performances.
Join us in this episode to explore his inspiring journey, where music, fatherhood, and entrepreneurship converge to create a remarkable story. Tune in to discover how Chris is shaping and empowering the artistic community!
