Tracy was my guest on Episode 10, and we check back in with her in this episode to see how she's doing.
Tracy says that she feels that she's grown in the last year since she left sugar behind. She feels like she's no longer enslaved. She's gained the self-confidence that she was lacking for a really long time because she was so ashamed of her secret war with sugar.
In this episode, Tracy talks about how she learned to trust herself. She talks about her definition of sugar (and of addiction), her justification of "healthy" baked goods and treats and her need for them, and her imperfections.
During COVID, her binge eating returned. And it scared her.
As a personal trainer and a fit pro, she had been so busy for so long, that she didn't have time to stop. But during the pandemic, she was forced to stop.
And think.
So Tracy took the time to do some inner work, with the help of a health coach, and she invested in herself and her well-being. She did the work to get to the root of her sugar addiction and her "diet brain". Listen to Tracy's inspiring journey in this catch-up episode.
