Today we chat with reigning WSL World Master's Champ Bob "Bainy" Bain @bigbadbobbain . At a very young age, Bainy would walk across the street from his house to his playground, the ocean. When he was 18 years old, Bob was invited to surf for his local boardriders club and quickly found himself progressing in surfing. He was a battling, working-class, pro surfer, making his heats and traveling all around the world partying and having fun. During that period of pro surfing, he tells us how the competitors were quite feisty, and sometimes punches got thrown. While on a surf trip to G-Land, Bain and his friends were hit by a tsunami, and somehow survived. It is an incredible story. And did Bainy really go to jail in Oceanside Ca? Find out!
