Today's episode is with two of Oceanside's finest, Will Smith and Jason Bennet. Jason explains how Chem Surfboards @chemistrysurfboard started, and tells us about the love they had for surfing, the love of the lifestyle, and the love of surf culture, and asked each other "how do we stay in this?". With the help of surfer/ shaper, Michael Baron, CHEMISTRY Surfboards was built. They tell us how Jason's main focus was shaping and how Will worked up front and helped build the brand of Chem Surfboards. The guys talk about the struggles they had, but at the same time, they had fun traveling around the world and making new friends all while always staying honest. Now, 20 years into making surfboards, and working hard, you can still find them at an O-Side lineup ripping a wave or two before work.
