In our latest episode, we talk with Jamaican surfer Ivah Wilmot @ivah_the_great . Ivah grew up surfing mostly lefts on the southeast side of the Island, where the breaks are cobblestone bottoms and reefs. To this day, he is finding new breaks. He says after a surf he would go in and watch Loose Change over and over but had very little exposure to surfing outside of a few surf videos. He tells us how his older brother influenced his surfing style, and how surfing helped him think more creatively about life. Ivah tells us the love of surfing is why he surfs, and how the surf community is like a brotherhood because it is so small. And is there really no surfboard shapers on the island, find out!
