In our latest episode, we visit with 1995 Rookie Of The Year surfer and 2X women runner-up Serena Brooke @saucebrooke coming to us from Noosa Heads. Serena started surfing at age 14, and within a year was in comps at her local boardriders club, WindanSea. She tells us how she loved being in competitions and at 15 years old, she knew she was going to be a pro. Serena talks about how Wendy Botha inspired her and even sent her a postcard from J-Bay. She tells us that you build resilience through adversity, and how they had to make it happen while on tour. Serena was one of the most marketable surfers, locking in huge sponsors from outside the surf world just by being herself and honest. And was Courtney Conlogue's 1st surf contest really at a Serena Brooke Day event? Find Out!
