Today we chat with South African surfer Warren "Wazo" Wareing, founder of Island Style Surf Company. Warren has been making surf products for well over 4 decades and tells us how, after traveling around the world, he came home and started a surf business, because he loved surfing and wanted to stay in the industry. He talks about Durban, and how good the waves are, and if you surf in S.A. it will toughen you up. Mr. Wareing says that a possible reason for the Mick Fanning shark incident may have been an accident and that the shark got caught up in his leash.
