Mackey Alvarez wears many hats, my favorite being the unofficial Queen of Live Oak County!! She graduated from GWISD in 1971 and currently serves on the school board, a job she has enjoyed for 14 years. She's a mother of 5, with a whole mess of grand-babies and a pretty bad ass husband who is an amazing cook. Mackey has an amazing gift to make you feel loved and welcomed, I really enjoyed our conversation.
