Another one of my BYU friends, Corey Smallcanyon definitely studied a different topic than I did. He has learned that even though history can be ugly or confusing, that the "basics" of the Gospel will always help through those murky questions and that having a witness about Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Book of Mormon will always keep us grounded. He basically challenges each of us to get our own testimonies because that will aid us through all parts of our life.
