I had this episode in my pocket for a while because my June was super busy. So as I relistened to all the things Ken Shields shared, I was humbled again. He, like our Apostles and Prophets today, is old and therefore can see things better. He can see the value of the lessons his parents taught him. He can see that holding on the Gospel of Jesus Christ is hard but worth it. He can see that the Holy Ghost really is real. He can see the fruits of the Priesthood. He can see that being poor of worldly wealth is okay because it keeps you humble. He can see that we each have the potential to see Jesus Christ. His testimony is powerful. I'm grateful for Brother Shields!
