Hello and welcome back to the podcast. This episode centers around an issue that we are all susceptible to as athletes and as human beings. 

Comparing ourselves with others!

Looking around at others can be useful but it can also be incredibly detrimental so we will be looking into strategies to control that and make sure that we are taking what is useful and then moving beyond the aspects of watching others which can completely overwhelm our minds and cripple our performance. 

A lot of elite performers say that 80% of performance is mental. Comparing yourself with others can very easily creep in whether it's looking at someone's physicality, personal best's, awards and titles OR being aware of their reputation. This kind of stuff will see you beaten before you've even started!
