She is a mom of 2, a wife and a sister that decided to go for her dream and design an online business that excites her every single day. Martine is also the Founder and owner of Kaderique Media, LLC a Boutique Digital Media Agency supporting small business owners, brand themselves online and expand their visibility on her TV Network Visualize and Create Network https://visualizeandcreate.lightcast.com/.
During this interview Martine shares her vulnerability and incredible personal story!
Growing up in Haiti, Martine experienced bullying as she did not live in an affluent area like her friends at school. Listen in to hear a story that she still remembers related to walking in the mud when her family's car broke down and making her way to school. All the other kids in their nice, shiny cars passed her by knowing full well that she needed some support that day. Martine is not a stranger to overcoming obstacles and trauma. One night at the age of 16, her home was invaded. Her Dad lost his life that day right in front of Martine. She shares more about the moment that happened. This is a very vulnerable moment, and I am honored that Martine felt safe to share it here.
Martine came to the United States and worked her way up the corporate ladder. She had a very successful job with a six -figure income. After many years and lots of traveling, the role was not exciting her anymore and she questioned the feeling of wanting to do something different. She spent a lot of money in her higher education, so why make a move? As she continued to not feel fully fulfilled, her role was eliminated due to the pandemic, and she became part of a very large layoff. It was then, that she decided it was exactly what she was asking for and that it was time to create a life by design. Listen in to hear more about the importance of your money mindset, being present, listening and watching for the signs and taking one step at a time. We may not always know how, but if we can trust in the why we are already there!
Don't forget to listen to the answer to this year's last question of every interview, 'what is the footprint you want to leave behind'?
