In addition to pursuing her medical degree, Claudia is also a trained medical interpreter and completed her training in this field in 2019 through "Bridging the Gap", and has served as a medical interpreter at three different clinics.
We talk about when and why you should use a medical interpreter, the scope of practice of medical interpreters, and the "Dos and Don'ts" that providers should follow when there is a language barrier between them and their patient.
