Welcome to part 2 of our "Relationships in Medicine" series! In this episode, UnsCripted's own Rachel Holloway sits down with two University of Cincinnati med students, Grace and Giselle. These two are both in the UC College of Medicine Class of 2023 and have been in a relationship with each other since their first year of medical school.
In this episode, our guests tell their story of navigating a romantic relationship during medical school as a same-sex couple and as medical students in the same graduating class. In particular, they talk about what it is like to share victories and struggles as medical students, how to balance the feelings of supporting and competing with each other, and the struggles they face navigating the educational and clinical environments as a same-sex couple.
