Legendary Coach Jim “Killer” Kane was Sam’s high school football coach .   Coach Kane was tough, demanding, disciplined and didn’t tolerate squandered time.  His teams worked hard for him. 

 Sam and his classmate Tom Lewis reminisce about Coach Kane.  They discuss:  

• How his impact affected his players for many years after they played for him.
• How his presence and his teams commanded respect. 
• How his teams did simple things, but did them to perfection.        
• How other teams didn’t want to play Kane’s teams.
• How his teams were disciplined. 
• How his coaching methods wouldn’t fly today.
