In honour of National Sibling day, I am introducing you to siblings Alexis Young her late brother Tyler. Tyler passed away in August 2020 of an accidental overdose after taking a fake prescription pill that contained a lethal dose of fentanyl. Following this very tragic event, Alexis used the tools that she knew would best help her cope. As a graduated of a BA degree in English and History from the University of Virginia, Alexis started writing and is now the author of the book The Worst Thing. The Worst Thing is a memoir that both celebrates Tyler's life while also examining the events that led to his untimely death and how a family’s worst nightmare can come true, as it did for her. This is a beautiful episode and I hope that it will resonate with you. If you wish to support the campaign for her book, The Worst Thing you can do so here https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-worst-thing-by-alexis-young#/ or find her on Instagram at www.instagram.com/readingwithlex .
Enjoy the episode, and a special thank you to my listeners for joining me on this journey. Stay tuned and keep listening.
