Description

Alison Waters is Animal Justice Party's lead candidate for the Upper House in the upcoming New South Wales state election. With over 20 years experience as a social worker, Alison wants to bring about legislative change for animals and people this election.

Ally's passion for social justice stemmed from her early placement in programs supporting women in the domestic and family violence space. Having lived and worked in Lismore since 2001, Ally felt compelled by the recent catastrophic flooding her community experienced and wanted to take action as a candidate.

In this episode, Ally shares the changes she would work on when elected, her vow to live in a cage for a week to highlight the plight of battery hens and raising vegan children.
