Her mission was to cultivate an authentic global connection to the sport for the official apparel brand, U.S. Polo Assn. Under Shannon's astute leadership, the USPA introduced Global Polo Entertainment, a groundbreaking initiative that serves as the home for innovative brand platforms, including the revolutionary three-part high-goal event series, The Gauntlet of Polo.
This transformative approach extended to reshaping the USPA's partnerships with media giants Eurosport and CBS Sports to support the Gauntlet's grand finale, The U.S. Open Polo Championship. Shannon played a pivotal role in overhauling these media partnerships, resulting in a substantial increase in live and live-to-tape coverage, an elevation in live streaming capabilities, and a digital promotion blitz, including the recent launch of the Global Polo Network.
Shannon's professional journey didn't commence with polo, however. Her roots are firmly planted in the world of golf, where she garnered experience working with esteemed organizations like the PGA Tour, PGA of America, both headquartered in Florida, and well-regarded golf event and marketing agencies.
