Do you feel uncomfortable in your body around the holidays? Do you feel like your struggling around food? What do you do with this discomfort? Feeling lack of control, being out of your normal routine, feeling like you are over-consuming, feeling body gross - I get it. The holidays can be hard. This episode is here for you. Let's dive into how to deal with the discomfort, come back to our higher intention, and connect with our body & food in a new way.
FIRST: Feeling lost, uncertain, unknown - is actually a really amazing place you can be in. You are changing your old habits, and starting to understand yourself more in a new way.
SECOND: looking at discomfort as a positive thing. Can we face the discomfort? Invite it as an opportunity to bring your awareness into your body. Can you notice thoughts of judgmenet & guilt - and go into them, instead of running away? Realizing these are only thoughts, and we can choose a whole new way to relate to these thoughts. Taking the power away from the fear, discomfort, thoguhts of guilt, blame, judgement.
THIRD: New intention with your wellness. Keep reminding yourself, you are starting a new higher intention with your body and wellness. You are starting a whole new path. You are learning a whole new way of approaching your body and food. Allow for that space of discomfort, old mindset, and judgements - give it space, and understand you are learning to change and connecting to yourself in a new way.
