Brendan Ring chats with Karl on the reasons himself and his wife Terry set up Cliona's Foundation. This is a very personal story about what happened to their young daughter, Cliona and the long and painful journey they all undertook together as a family. Brendan tells us about the horrible news they got out of the blue one day when Cliona came home from school having hurt her head in an accident in the classroom. What happened after that is a story you hope you never have to experience BUT the fact is hundreds of families go through something similar each year in Ireland. It is also a story of good, a legacy left behind and a hope instilled by Brendan, Terry and everyone involved in Cliona's Foundation that there is a helping hand reaching out to those in need.
