The Lord's Day is mentioned only once in Scripture, however, it was practiced in the first church as being on Sunday, and the day to gather in corporate worship, teaching, fellowship and giving. The Sabbath Day and the Lord's Day are not the same, but often practiced as the same in today's Christian churches, as the Sabbath, Saturday, was an Old Testament law.
