Colleen is a passionate and energetic young professional. She began working in the hospitality industry pairing her passion for the environment with her love of working with the people. Colleen now works as a policy analyst for a local elected official. Colleen focuses on issue areas including homelessness, social service, health, sustainability, parks, transportation and more. In November 2020,Colleen ran for office to be elected to the College Board of Trustees for a local community college. Although she did not get elected, she now has an unique perspective to share with others as a candidate for office. With her background in Environmental Studies, she practices a sustainable lifestyle and encourages others to learn more and do more to reduce their impact on our environment. When Colleen isn't working, she is supporting small-local businesses, playing beach volleyball, running/biking on the Coastal Recreation Trail and talking about the importance of mental health and putting yourself first.
