On episode 29, Jr and Jose welcome Brenda Flores. Brenda is an entreprenuer, dancer, actress, and project manger. Brenda is a cali girl that escaped the gang lifestyle by falling in love with dance and the arts. At a very young age, Brenda knew that she did not want to live the lifestyle that her older brothers had chosen. Brenda invested her time and escaped the problems at home by dancing it off zapateando. Gradually, Brenda love for folklorico became love for dance, then love for acting, performing and artistic expression. Brenda upbringing and challenges she faced were always motivating factors to overachieve and to go beyond the stereotypes expected of her. As the only girl in her family, Brenda has rebelled alot of cultural expectancies and broken through social standards. Brenda proudly carries her independence, use her life experience and operate her passion to continue venturing new challenges and accomplishing goals.
