In an impulsive decision, I decided to go on a solo trip to Paris in the fall of 2019. This led me to a journey toward self-love and self-acceptance through reconnecting with my cousin and an old friend from the time I lived in Florence. My solo trip was a journey towards returning to myself and loving the person I was becoming.
